Pierce’s Park OpeningThursday, May 10th, 2012
Pierce’s Park officially opened on Sunday, May 6, 2012. The construction began twelve months ago on an undeveloped parcel of land in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The park is a green space in Baltimore City for families to explore. It features sculptures and landscape designed for play. P. Flanigan & Sons crews worked alongside several subcontractors, the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance, sculptor David Hess and the Flanigan Family to design and build this park. The company donated its work and materials.
Pierce’s Park is a gift to Baltimore City named after P. Flanigan & Sons late owner, Pierce J. Flanigan, III.
