Mt. Washington Elementary School

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Late Wednesday afternoon, August 25th,  P. Flanigan and Sons received a call from the Baltimore City Public Schools Maintenance Supervisor about concrete repair work that needed to be completed at Mt. Washington ES #221 prior to the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year  on Monday, August 30th.

Because of this projects’s high priority to the City, P. Flanigan redirected forces from other projects, and removed the designated sidewalk and curb on Thursday, August 27th. Friday, August 28th, Flanigan poured 2,200 SF of concrete sidewalk and 122 LF of curb, all within 48 hours of the initial call.  Teachers, parents, and students were thrilled to see there freshly reconstructed sidewalks at the beginning of the school year on Monday, August 30th.
